All of the research conducted at Johnson Research will be targeted to accomplish a marked advancement over technologies currently in use. The technology developed here will not only be original or novel, but dramatically so. The signature of Johnson Research products will be that they are the most innovative technology available. We are the standard bearers.
II. Company Description
We at Johnson Research & Development Company, Inc. (Johnson Research) specialize in the proprietary development of high technology environmental and energy related products in the areas of:
Thermodynamics
Heat Transfer
Fluid Dynamics
Thermal Hydraulics
Energy and Power Generation
Mechanics of Materials
Fatigue Analysis
Digital Circuit Design
Microprocessors
Control Systems
These products include:
A high efficiency environmentally friendly CFC free heat
pump
A high efficiency engine that is powered by low grade
(waste) heat
Highlights of our capabilities:
We are equipped for all phases of the research and
development process from the inception of an idea to
production ready prototyping.
We have conducted research for the National Aeronautics
Space Administration (NASA), and the United States Air
Force on the Johnson TubeŽ Heat Pump (U.S. Patent
4,724,683), an innovative heating and refrigeration system.
We are affiliated with the Georgia Research Alliance
(GRA), an economic partnership between Georgia's
research universities, business community and state
government.
We maintain a working relationship with faculty members
of the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech) in
conducting energy and power generation research.
We develop toys and consumer products for subsequent
license and manufacture.
During the years of 1991 and 1992 Super Soaker became
the hottest selling toy in America, breaking all previous
sales records set by Nintendo and Teenage Mutant Ninja
Turtles.
Our continued innovation of Super Soakers maintains
these guns in the top ten best selling toys every year.
